A NOTE FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER
“I think each of us has our own theme. Our own way of identifying ourselves in the world. How we move, speak, adventure, love. All of these play a part in our own personal presentation.
The world has a funny way of restricting people and their uniqueness. Often times, we have to dress and act a certain way when we go to work, attend a business meeting, etc. Photography is an opportunity to truly embrace the us that we know ourselves to be! The champagne poppin’, guitar playing, skateboard riding, beer drinking, vinyl record enthusiasts that we are! Whatever your niche may be. Find your theme. Embrace your theme. Live your theme.” – Bailey Crawford
THE TAKE AWAY
- Engagement pictures are supposed to reflect you and your fiancé as a couple! We love how this couple’s pictures gave you and insight to their personalities. This gallery has a lot of laughs, smiles and adult beverages Don’t stress yourself out too much trying to have the perfect session – just be you. This couple incorporated different aspects of them, and we love it. These pictures will make you want to go play in the snow and throw back some whiskey with your person.
- Winter sessions can make your colors POP! Colors appear so much vibrant in snow. Check out the cool silver tones this couple used for one of their outfits. We are dying over their rust and deep blue color they chose for their second outfit. Clay’s hat matches perfectly to her jumpsuit and we are here for it! They ended their session with a classic black dress + black coat combo and we are just speechless. These pictures are so versatile but capture the couple completely! Don’t be afraid to play with colors y’all – you could end up with amazing results like this couple!
- Ten out of ten recommend coordinating your drinks to your outfits! We love how Clay and Merilee changed up what they were drinking for each outfit the wore in their engagements!
