THE LOVE STORY

“After two covid reschedules we were finally able to have our dream wedding! 

Kenny and I met back in 2015 online, but I knew of him so it wasn’t that sketchy. He was from the next town over, & a few years older than me, so I’d never actually met him in person before! Kenny was SO sweet back then, now he’s just ornery, but that’s okay because we both are! After about 2 years in I started pestering him about marriage, but he just wasn’t giving in. We ended up dating for 5 years before he FINALLY asked me to marry him. 

Our proposal wasn’t some big public gesture, he’s a little shy and I’m so glad it was a private moment for us. I came home from a girls river trip to the cutest little blue heeler puppy you’ve ever seen (we named him moose) & the prettiest ring. Our dating anniversary was in March! We wanted to keep our anniversary around the same time, so we decided to go with March 28th, 2020 but covid had other plans! 9 days before our wedding we had to postpone to MAY, which was heartbreaking because we had waited years for our wedding and then overnight everything changed. We then had to postpone again to August because the gathering restrictions in Oklahoma hadn’t been lifted yet! I truly believe everything happens for a reason though, because we had the BEST wedding day! Everything was SO perfect, relaxed, and exactly how I wanted it to be!” – Bride, Bridget
