Rian fell for Alyssa in the summer of 2008 when her dad started as a ranch manager at the Fox Creek Ranch in Paicines, California. She was 15 years old and he was 16. Two young teenagers coming from two completely different lifestyles with one similar outlook on life… six months later, they were official. November 7th, 2008, Rian asked Alyssa to become his girlfriend and the love story began.
 
In 2010, they graduated High School and were inseparable. Together, they decided to take the journey moving to San Luis Obispo, Ca where they attended Cal Poly State University! Go Mustangs! San Luis Obispo has a very special place in their hearts. They had grown into young adults together, competed in college rodeos together, spent weekends visiting their families ranch and had branded many calves together. In 2015, they both graduated college with an ambition to hit the ground running in the “real world”.
 
A SHORT 12 years’ worth of memories later and they have learned to love all the same hobbies and have truly started an amazing life together. These High school sweethearts enjoy each other’s company every day and can’t wait to spend a lifetime together!
 
Rian popped the question the morning of the Fox Creek Ranch Family branding. He knew it would be tough to surprise Alyssa so he had to be extra sneaky and make a game plan that she would fall for. Up to the ranch cabin (they call Walt’s cabin) they went. The morning air was crisp, calves bawling, drones flying, and bubbling champagne was flowing. Little did she know a ring was waiting at the top. It was the sweetest start to their new beginning!
