In true Denton and Cynthia fashion, our story begins in the arena. Through the years of high school rodeo small conversations were made in and out of the arena until we both decided we thought each other were pretty cool! After a weekend at Champion’s Challenge we started to date for the next year. Knowing that we needed to live our lives a little bit more, we split ways. Marianne, Cynthia’s mom, knew they were destined to be and stayed persistent on wanting to know what Denton was doing over the years. Finally after 6 years passed, life has brought us back together with the knowing of forever. We picked up like we had never left. Denton kept the biggest secrets from me for a solid 3 months! On March 30th, I thought we were doing just a cute couples shoot with our good friend Kaycee. Little did I know it was going to be the happiest day of my life when Denton proposed! Many things have changed since then and we are excited for the adventures to come. We were excited to announce our big move to Texas in the spring to start our own lives and roots there, with only 3 more months till the wedding. Little did we know this little thing called COVID-19 would change a majority of those plans. We had to reschedule 2 weeks before the weddings original date. Little did we know that was a blessing in itself! It decided to rain about an inch that original day! We wanted to have a fall wedding to begin with but we didn’t want to wait for it, but we ending up with it after all. October 24th was our new date and I think it was destined to be. We couldn’t have asked for a better day in terms of weather. Being that it was still during the craziness of covid, I truly think our family and friends had the best time. Not only to celebrate  the marriage between Denton and I, but to be able to laugh, dance and enjoy themselves with people they haven’t been able to see for months. They always say your wedding day goes so fast, and I can attest to that. What I would give to relive it all over again.
