Trevor and I met at my hometown dance in November of 2014, I was a junior in highschool and he was a senior. I went to the dance with a group of girlfriends, and one of my friends had a guy from the town over from ours meeting her there. Well, he just so happened to bring his friend Trevor along with him. From the second Trevor came up and introduced himself, to the last song played that night, we never came off the dance floor. We two stepped the night away and have been inseparable since.
Trevor graduated highschool and left for College Station, TX to attend college 8 months later. I was still in high school which was about 3 hours away from him. Like any long distance relationship, there comes trial and tribulation, but our relationship never wavered and it became stronger than ever before. Distance does make the heart grow fonder.
When I graduated high school in 2016, I moved to College Station to attend college there as well. Little did I know the next three years were going to be some of the most memorable years of my life. Attending college with your best friend is so much fun. From Aggie football games, to going to the Dixie Chicken to play pool; we made the best memories together.
Fast forward to May of 2019, we were back to long distance. Trevor graduated from Texas A&M University and I was now a senior. We saw each other nearly every weekend, and made the most of long distance. After graduating in May of 2020 from Texas A&M, I moved home and Trevor proposed to me in March of 2020, and we are planning our dream wedding.
After COVID hit my family in a way I never thought it would, we have rescheduled our wedding from March of 2021 to December 3rd of 2021, and I can’t wait to marry my best friend.
