Kevin likes to tell the story that I reached out first online to say hi……but I know different! Regardless who “made the first move”,I Thank God everyday that we did make contact or this story would not have been written. Our first date was on the border Mexican cantina and I was convinced I had been stood up as It took him an hour and a half to “get cleaned up and meet me for lunch“! Thanfully I was wrong and we satand talked nonstop for over 2 hours. Many weeks then months went by as we continued to learn about each other which allowed our love to blossom and grow. I told him “ i love you“ first in tbe parking lot of the DPS training facility in Austin, Texas when i left him for a week of training.  Those words are now repeated daily between the two of us!
   

Fast forward 2 1/2 years, we exchanged personally handwritten vows in front of family and close friends in the intimacy of our backyard on our farm in East Texas.  It was a perfect day with wonderful weather, beautiful flowers, delicious food and a band that rocked the barn!
