How did we meet? Now, we always get stuck on this question because we wish we could give you some glamorous romantic story when in reality.. Are you ready for this? We met each other online like a lot of people do now-a-days but more specifically on tinder But that’s our love story, and you know, we wouldn’t have it any other way because it’s unique to us and somehow even living 3 hours away from each other it brought us together and we wouldn’t be where we are today. It all started with us matching and me “super liking him” (does that mean I made the first move?) He then messaged me and we were talking back and forth and scheduled a weekend to meet and go on a date. Which I completely forgot about and accidentally blew him off, (he will never let me live that down of course). Oops. After apologizing and talking more we then planned on a date the next weekend. He picked me up from my house, where he even met my parents and we then went out to dinner/bowling where we laughed and talked all night. I had the BEST time with him. The whole night I could not stop thinking to myself about how absolutely perfect this man was, not only for me but in general and to this day I have yet to find a single flaw; he’s everything I’ve wanted and more. There’s no one else that can make me happy the way he does, laugh the way he does, smile the way he does, and so much more that I could go on about all day. I still think about how truly lucky I am for this life we have built together so far and how there is still so much more room for growth. Our goals we have set together, our love for each other, and our love for god is what has gotten us to where we are today almost 2 years later ENGAGED and happier than ever. 

The proposal My good friend Carly Zander, one of the most talented photographers I know who’s work is absolutely jaw dropping was going to be in the horseshoe bend area April 9th offering shoots there. I thought how fun and stunning that would be, so I HAD to with her. Fast forward to when that day came around, we decided to make a whole little trip out of it together and went hiking, shopped around some local stores and ate at some fun places! When it came time for the shoot we met up at horseshoe bend and were just going through taking pictures, having a fun time when it came to one specific pose that had us walking towards Carly holding hands, & out of no where he got down on one knee and proposed! I was SO surprised and In pure shock, and not to mention tears too, I don’t even know how he got the ring on my finger from us being so shaky! Truly, the happiest moment of my life because I get to marry the man of my dreams! He made the trip beyond special and absolutely unforgettable! & turns out the ring was in his pearl snap the whole time that I even packed and carried into the hotel, don’t know how he pled that off!
The weddingWe are so excited to get married and be able to share such a special moment with all of our family and friends! We will be getting married April 30th, 2022! Thanks to Tasha Lynn, our wedding coordinator (@rootedinwild_az) the wedding planning process and being engaged has been so fun and we are soaking it all up as much as possible! Our wedding colors will be burnt orange and turquoise to go along with the western/boho theme! Stay tuned for the wedding pictures <3
