Nick & Myrissa have been dating for over 4 years after they met at the Iowa State Fair as FFA Concert Ushers. Throughout their relationship they enjoy traveling the world, attending rodeos, and spending time working on their up and coming business “The Traveling Nova” which is behind them in their proposal photos.
Nick wanted to make it super special for Myrissa, so he decided to propose after 4 years during their opening launch date for their business. He told their photographer (Leah Ried Photography) just a couple days before so she didn’t freak out and spill the beans from pure excitement and joy as everyone had been waiting for this moment to happen! Leah had got the ring from Nick right before the photoshoot, and as they were taking headshots she had Myrissa turn around and hug Nick. She brought the ring to him and he turned her around and asked her the big question! Myrissa IMMEDIATELY answered with yes as they both started crying and everyone started applauding. It was a dream for them to get engaged in front of their new pride (The Traveling Nova) and he made it happen! Wedding will be 10/14/2023 as their song is “Unforgettable” by Thomas Rhett “On the 14th of October”.
