THE LOVE STORY
Brandon and I met on his 19th birthday. Our first date consisted of him picking me up after a full day of working on my family dairy and going and getting some chicken wings at Wing Stop. I wouldn’t say it was love at first sight, cause that’s cheesy but it pretty much was. That following week he started his journey in becoming a Fire Fighter which has led us both to working for CAL FIRE for a few years now. We grew up in the Central Valley of California but never crossed paths as kids while we only lived 30 minutes from each other and had several friends in the same circle. I believe God knew what he was doing at our meeting at the most perfect time in our lives. We have a ranch in Mariposa, CA (gateway to Yosemite) where for now all we are wranglin is our 3 cow dogs/fur babies and the occasional flock of wild turkeys. Seven years later we are FINALLY getting married, the definition of “It’s about damn time”. Our wedding will be in the Spring of next year at the Brights Barn in Le Grand, CA. There’s a quote that I told Brandon when we first started dating and will be included in our vows, “And I’d choose you, in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I’d find you and I’d choose you.” This quote is still true today and truly expresses that love is hard, love is a choice and a promise that no matter what life throws at you to always choose your person.
