Love story: 

Brandt and Amanda met while both of them were pursuing further education in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. Brandt was working on his Master’s degree when he hired a beautiful girl named Amanda, a veterinary student at that time, to help him with different research projects. After a Snapchat post of her horse caught his eye, the two shared their first date at RC McGraws to watch an OU football game. The night ended with a dance in the living room to “Deeper Than The Holler”, and that was when it all started. After many dirt road dances, snow cone and ice cream dates, and ranch rodeos, the two got engaged on a Kansas Flint Hill gravel road after dancing to the famed Randy Travis song. The two were married five months later in a beautiful, Jesus-centered union in the presence of family and close friends.
