THE LOVE STORY
Casey and I are the epitome a guy walks into a bar, sees a girl who catches his eye and they fall in love. We met in a bar in Vegas during the National Finals in December of 2017. He was a small town boy from southern Colorado and I was a wild California girl. But despite all the odds and craziness we made it work, our love story won.
We dated long distance for a few years off and on. Continued going to Vegas each year for the rodeo. Fell in love listening to Texas country and loving the western lifestyle. Then two summers after we met I came out to Colorado for his brothers wedding and got offered a job being the local Ag Teacher. I took it and moved to Colorado 5 months later leaving all my friends and family behind. Fast forward a year later and we get engaged at his families ranch under the aspen trees in the fall. We then find out 4 months later that we have a surprise and we expecting a baby boy in September of 2020. Our son Cooper is the biggest blessing in our lives.
After all the choas and the wild turns our lives took we were finally able to come together in Vegas to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends. We got married almost exactly 5 years after we met in the city we fell in love. We chose the Valley of Fire for its beauty and the red rocks. The red rocks of Colorado were one of the reasons I fell in love with Colorado the first time I visited. They represent to us the ups and downs of our love and life. Wild and majestic but truly beautiful.
I said to Casey in my vows: “Casey, we are here today because of you. You always believed, you believed in our wild crazy love story. “
Which is the truth, he is the reason that despite all the odds we are able to live our happily ever after.
