Clayton and I (Liz) met long before dating even crossed our minds, I am great friends with his sister and never stopped to think about dating my friends older brother but a couple of years later, moving home after college, one date later and five months down we got engaged! Clayton is a fourth-generation farmer and comes from a huge family that I was so excited to be a part of, for being an only child. Clayton brought me out their family farm where he set up an intimate spot to propose next to huge baled hay stacks, where he wrote “Marry Me?” in spray paint on the bales. 
Our wedding took place at Desert Foothills Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona on 10.30.2021.We picked this location for its serine desert landscapes and tall saguaros surrounding the property. We loved the huge rustic barn with beautiful twinkle lights that wrapped the barn posts. It was simple but beautiful in a way that it needed minimal decor and that’s exactly why we picked it. One of my favorite details from our wedding is the alter, I searched for months before I found two of the most beautiful saguaros skeletons both standing at 11 feet tall. Our wedding was our desert dream and we loved every minute and detail.
