Brody and Rachel met through Brody’s cousin and one of Rachel’s closest friends, Kayla, while attending Cal Poly. After 5 years spent in SLO, Brody finally decided to propose on a trip to Sun Valley, Idaho where Rachel’s Granny’s surprise birthday party was happening (this is also where Rachel’s uncle lives who is a jeweler and made Rachel’s ring!) Rachel was oblivious to the other big surprise Brody had planned when it came time for engagement pictures.. Rachel loves her horses and Brody works construction so white isn’t a friendly color in Rachel’s wardrobe- Rachel got her jumpsuit off of Poshmark and wanted to add a cute hat so shopped around and found a Gigi Pip hat. Rachel says her style is “jeans and a tshirt” (she even wore converse for her wedding) so the jeans outfit was much easier to put together and be comfortable in!
