I grew up in Unity, Wisconsin and Miles is from Tarkio, Missouri. We met at the Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo in 2018. I was at the rodeo carrying flags, and Miles was fighting bulls. We crossed paths once, but didn’t really pay either one attention. Fast forward to April of 2019 we happened to be in the same place again, Minnesota Horse Expo. I heard Miles’s name as he was announced as one of the bullfighters, and thought it was a familiar name, so I used my investigator skills and found him on Facebook and clicked the “add friend” button. That Sunday evening we started talking, and ever since then the conversations have never ended. After a year and a half of dating, living 17 hours apart, and Miles’s proposing I moved from Wisconsin to North Carolina for our happily ever after. We will be getting married in October 2022 on MIle’s grandfather’s land in Glade Valley, NC.
