Bridger and Kate have known each other for about 7 years due to their siblings getting married. They both were in different stages in their life’s until Kate went to work for her brother. Bridger had been working for Kate’s brother for about 2 years already. On the first day of work, Kate knew no one but Bridger, so they rode together in the truck for about a 6 hour drive. During that drive Kate and Bridger learned a lot about each other! Kate knew Bridger was the one right off the bat, but he had different ideas! Bridger was never the one for commitment. Kate tried winning him over by making him lunches every day during work. They say the best way to a man’s heart is through their stomachs and it worked! Not soon after, Bridger asked Kate if she wanted to go on a date hiking at Lost Lake. A few days after their first date, Kate left for college. Even though they were two hours away, they were inseparable! Every weekend Bridger had off, he would either visit Kate or she would go see him! It took a while for Bridger to get the guts to ask her out, but he eventually did! After about 1 year of dating, Bridger bought a house and Kate moved in with him. On July 1st they went on another hike in the Little Belts. Once they got to a big rock arch, Bridger had told Kate he wanted to take some pictures of her and the veiw. When Kate turned around, Bridger was on a knee and asked her to marry him!
