THE LOVE STORY
Aaron & Taylor locked eyes at the Santa Barbara County fair back in July 2011 while Aaron was showing his steer in the show ring and Taylor was standing ring side. A few months later they began dating and as Aaron was applying for colleges, Taylor suggested he select Dairy Science as his major when applying to Cal Poly for a better shot of acceptance. Fast forward to September 2012 and they were both attending Cal Poly together. Shortly after Aaron graduated college in 2017 he moved in with Taylor and they soon acquired careers with International agricultural companies on the central coast of California. It was then that life truly began for them. She acquired a couple barrel horses and he acquired a handful of show cattle to set the foundation for their business Top Shelf Livestock. Once the foundation of their business had been set they made the decision to purchase their first home. After they got their own lives in order, and after 8 years together, Taylor told Aaron he better propose to her on their trip to Italy, or else… So as any good man would do, he listened and proposed along the canals of Venice, Italy on her 27th birthday.
Being the rebel that Taylor is, she let nothing stand in her way of marrying the man of her dreams – not even a worldwide pandemic. So the two carried on with their original wedding date of 9/12/20 and said I do in front of 150 of their closest friends and family at her parent’s ranch in Nipomo, California on their 9th anniversary.
