“How Dylan and I (Brielle) met was very simple… He was in Billings, MT for Thanksgiving of 2019 after having been in Texas rodeoing, he posted a picture of him and his mom and I “accidentally messaged him” on Instagram. 

I knew who he was, because years ago I went to prom with one of his friends and he bugged me a few times but we never talked. Well, that night after I messaged him we talked until the sun came up and continued to do that every single day. We would FaceTime for hours, and then finally he came to see me after about a week or so.. After about month of making the trip from Gillette, WY to Buffalo, WY to see eachother, Dylan finally got the courage to ask me to be his girlfriend. After that, it was New Years and he asked if I would take a trip with him to get his car in Texas since he had to leave it at a friend’s house there while he was rodeoing that summer. So we drove to Denver because he was up that way for a rodeo – Colorado Vs. the World. At about 4am we got dropped off at the airport to get on a plane to Weatherford, TX and we drove from there to Oklahoma, then back to Wyoming. 

On that trip he played the song “Cowboy Like Me” by Cody Johnson and I knew then, sitting in his passenger seat, I was with the right guy. In February, I ended up buying a house, and had only been in there for one day by myself before I asked him to come live with me. 

Since then, it’s been a fun filled adventure with lots of laughter and plenty of memories. 

We got engaged December 19, 2020 in Naples, FL exactly a year and one day after he asked me to be his girlfriend.”
