I am Makenzi, from Last Hughes Creative Company. My fiance and I live and work on a ranch in Eastern Washington. We met in college on the livestock judging team at Blue Mountain Community College, the same way my parents met 30 years ago and his grandparents met nearly 70 years ago at Washington State University. We have been best friends since college. Cole, my fiance,is not the most romantic fella and always has complained about cheesy holidays. He surprised the heck out of me when he proposed on Valentine’s Day! We were in the tractor taking a big bale to the bulls, he stopped and I got out to open the gate; it was frozen to the ground! When I turned around he was on his knee with a ring! 
We got married on my family’s SimmxAngus cattle ranch and I’m 5th generation there. My grandpa, parents and sister and her 3 year old son (6th generation) live and work there and Cole and I plan to return to there in the future. Ciara Ackerman did a great job!
