THE LOVE STORY
“Dustin and I met when I was in high school and he was in college at Blinn. We both knew of each other but never actually talked or hung out before. He came over to the house a couple of times with my brother and then we soon started talking. I like to put it as, I stole one of my brother’s friends, haha! If you ask him today if he was afraid of my brother back then, he’d lie and say he wasn’t, but we all know that’s why it took him so long to ask me out! 
Fast forward to almost 7 years later when we decided to buy some land and build a house together. July 4th was approaching and with the house almost done, we decided to have a housewarming and fourth of July party altogether. Dustin kept telling me he was going to say a little speech to thank everyone who helped out and that I needed to say something too, but not just a simple “thank you.” Now if you know me, you know that I do not do well with public speaking. So here I am weeks before the party, freaking out, trying to think of what I was going to say. Good distraction, Dustin. On July 4th, standing in front of all our friends and family, I quickly realized what was about to happen. Next thing I know he’s down on one knee and I’ve got a shiny ring on my finger! 
We can’t wait to officially tie the knot this December!”
