Ciara + Riley | WEDDING
THE LOVE STORY
Riley and I both grew up in Alberta, Canada. Riley a background in ranching, myself a background in ranching and farming. We were introduced six years ago during rodeo weekend in his home town! After that weekend we were pretty much inseparable. Fast forward five years, when Riley proposed, its one of my favourite stories. I was on my way home from work and he had asked if I could help him in the barn. Thinking he needed help braiding his horses mane. I went in the barn to find our horses tied and no Riley. When I got looking, there was a note on the tack room door. After reading the note over and over, I opened the tack room door to find Riley down on one knee. On October 16th, we got married. If I could relive that day, over and over I would in a heart beat. It was everything I had dreamt of since I was a little girl. We got married in a pasture next to my parents yard, and held the reception in the calving barn. Having the wedding in the yard was incredibly special to us and something we are both so grateful for. We wanted to get married somewhere that had a lot of meaning, this was the most perfect place. When thinking back, I can’t help but to smile. It truthfully was the happiest day of my life.
