Gabe and Emily went on their first date in 2018 where Gabe took Emily out for tacos at the local bar in Wilder, ID. The two had a fling off and on for a few months until Emily had decided that they should just be friends (friend zoned). Then in June of 2019 Gabe invited Emily to a good friends branding at AK Feeders. Gabe had two horses loaded and saddled up before Emily arrived. At the branding that day Gabe was throwing fancy loops and sweet talking  Emily. That’s when she realized Gabe wasn’t a knight in shinning armor but her cowboy in fringed chinks and a cowboy hat 🤠. Gabe had jokingly proposed to Emily that day with some bailing twine because he was impressed with her roping skills. After that day the two started dating and then on December 19, 2020 Gabe proposed with a beautiful diamond ring and not bailing twine.
