Our love story is one of those “it was always you” stories. We met when I was eight and he was ten at a goat show. I had a crush on him from the first time we met. He, on the other hand, took a little more convincing… We showed goats and cattle together for the rest of our show careers and remained friends. Calvin even fit for me my senior year. We eventually went our separate ways because of college and I thought I would never end up with my third grade crush. We ran into each other years later after a Texas Tech football game and we’ve been by each others sides ever since. We’ve been together five years and will be married two of those in May.Our love for the stock show industry is just as strong as when we met. We travel all over for different steer shows and spend our time when we’re not on the road raising and working with high quality stock. God definitely knew what he was doing making us cross paths that night in Lubbock, Texas and we’re forever thankful he did.
