The ranch could not have been a more spectacular venue and we were able to use the hunt lodge, barns, and ranch houses for different parts of the wedding. We were so lucky to be married in such a beautiful place surrounded by our favorite people!”

“On that trip he played the song “Cowboy Like Me” by Cody Johnson and I knew then, sitting in his passenger seat, I was with the right guy. In February, I ended up buying a house, and had only been in there for one day by myself before I asked him to come live with me.”

“We’ve been together almost 3 years now and from day one we’ve been inseparable. We wouldn’t have life any other way! We both have a passion for animals of all sizes and we are both crazy dedicated to our work. I can’t say we have any crazy romantic hobbies or anything, just everyday life on the ranch with our fur babies is all we love. Good music, a good porch and good company is what we love!”

Our story goes to show when things are supposed to work out they will. We first met while I was in college in Stephenville TX. He was passing through rodeoing and we met at a mutual friends house. We hit it off that night and he asked for my number which he never used…

“Hi, I am Joe”. Call it an instant connection or chemistry, but we were inseparable the rest of the rodeo performance that night. We met up the night after that, and the night after that, and the night after that.

Trevor and I met at my hometown dance in November of 2014, I was a junior in highschool and he was a senior. I went to the dance with a group of girlfriends, and one of my friends had a guy from the town over from ours meeting her there. Well, he just so happened to bring his friend Trevor along with him. From the second Trevor came up and introduced himself, to the last song played that night, we never came off the dance floor. We two stepped the night away and have been inseparable since. After COVID hit my family in a way I never thought it would, we have rescheduled our wedding from March of 2021 to December 3rd of 2021, and I can’t wait to marry my best friend.

Being the rebel that Taylor is, she let nothing stand in her way of marrying the man of her dreams – not even a worldwide pandemic. So the two carried on with their original wedding date of 9/12/20 and said I do in front of 150 of their closest friends and family at her parent’s ranch in Nipomo, California on their 9th anniversary.

Colby encourages me in every aspect of life and I do the same for him, we’re each other’s best friend, and I am so thankful God had our paths cross again. I’m so glad I had Morghan take pictures of us while we are dating, we both know that we are each other’s forever, and I can’t wait to look back at these photos and remember how much fun and love we had as a young couple!

It may have taken a few years for them to realize that they were absolutely meant to be together, but once they saw the light there was no going back for them! They’ll be getting married in October in Central CA at the most gorgeous ranch in Sanger!
