THE LOVE STORY

Dylan and Charla got married January 1, 2021. They met in 2016 in College Station, Tx. Charla was a server and bartender at a local bar and grill and never would have thought a simple “will you refill my beer” would turn into a love story.

They have been together 4 years now. Dylan and Charla share several interest and hobbies. One of them is traveling and hiking. Together they have visited Colorado twice and New Mexico three times. Dylan’s mom lives in New Mexico so it is a reoccurring destination for them. Usually once a year. They have never stayed at the same place twice and each visit always has something new to offer. Both love the landscapes of northern New Mexico and when they decided to get married, a small authentic wedding is what they preferred. New Mexico crossed their minds and they knew right away it was the perfect place for them to say their vows.

They picked Abiquiu because the region includes some of the most diverse and spectacular geology in the state. They married across from Abiquiu Lake at the Talus Natural Arch area. The landscape included lots of red rock, giant red cliffs, a beautiful view of Abiquiu Lake and an outstanding view of Cerro Pedernal. They said that their photographers captured the wedding pictures of their dreams and they are so happy to be able to share them for years to come. 
Dylan and Charla hope to one day start a family and pass on their love for adventure. Until then, they plan to continue to pay visits to New Mexico to keep exploring all the land has to offer.
