Dustin and Colette met a few days before Colette graduated college; a mutual friend introduced them because Dustin was from the town Colette was moving to. Not long after, they began dating and shortly after that, they knew they would spend forever together. Dustin moved to Nebraska to pursue his passion of ranching and Colette visited every weekend to help him pursue his calling to join the church. In May, Dustin proposed while checking cows one evening. He knew Colette wanted to be surprised, which meant anything out of the norm would have had her on alert. He certainly pulled it off because she was so surprised and thrilled I didn’t even see the ring in his hand! On top of being engaged, they are now expecting a beautiful baby that will get to experience their wedding day with them! Colette says “Most days I’m still not sure if he’s convinced I said yes and we’re expecting. We are so excited about it all!”
