Our wedding day was nothing but perfect! The weather was beautiful and everything from the flowers to the food was amazing. Today I can still say that Devin is the kindest human being around. He puts himself last before everyone else and will do anything for anyone. He puts me first and like I said in our vows to him “All the hard work you do for me and our future, the kind jesters, and every morning forehead kiss before you go to work do not go unnoticed, I promise.” I could not have asked for a better human being to call my soulmate.
There’s no one else that can make me happy the way he does, laugh the way he does, smile the way he does, and so much more that I could go on about all day. I still think about how truly lucky I am for this life we have built together so far and how there is still so much more room for growth. Our goals we have set together, our love for each other, and our love for god is what has gotten us to where we are today almost 2 years later ENGAGED and happier than ever.
Kirsten and Seth met in late 2020 when Kirsten was actually at a party with another friend. She even says she doesn’t remember meeting him. On the other hand, Seth could tell you everything about her, including the outfit she was wearing that night. We make each other better people. He’s one of my greatest teachers and my best friend.” They now live in Fort Scott and have turned a run down ranch house into a home and plan to continue working toward their goals and a happy life together.
Kevin likes to tell the story that I reached out first online to say hi……but I know different! Regardless who “made the first move”,I Thank God everyday that we did make contact or this story would not have been written. Fast forward 2 1/2 years, we exchanged personally handwritten vows in front of family and close friends in the intimacy of our backyard on our farm in East Texas. It was a perfect day with wonderful weather, beautiful flowers, delicious food and a band that rocked the barn!
We get married October 16th, 2021 at an old historic home that my great grandparents used to own!
We met in high school through a mutual friend, trailed off to the same college together and found our passions of sorority and rodeo in the same small town. We love this western lifestyle and wouldn’t have it any other way!
THE LOVE STORY“Let’s just start by saying, “Go Devils”! Our love story started at ASU where we were neighbors in the dorms. We instantly became friends and spent every day together whether we were studying, going to eat at one of the glorious dining halls, or learning how to drink beer (well, Layne was learning). From […]
As dust settled in the arena, the crowd roared. Wyatt had just finished the bronc ride he would remember for the rest of his life. Instead of walking back to the chutes, he made his way over to the crowd & slipped through the bars. Kelsey was waiting for him. In front of the all the cowboys and gals gathered at the grounds that night, he knelt down on one knee and proposed to the love of his life. And, of course, she said yes! Fast forward over months of planning to the perfect wedding that is about to take place!
We started dating and after just a couple short weeks I knew that he was the one that I wanted to spend my forever with. Four short months later we were engaged to be married and I have never been more sure of anything in my entire life! He is the man that I have always been searching for and I cannot wait to be his Bride this September. Together we chose Ephesians 4:2-3 as our Love Verse… “With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
