It was an intimate and romantic setting on the mountainside and we had each spot we visited to ourselves. Their day was exactly what she had hoped and dreamed of.

“Things definitely lined up just right for us to meet each other. Living a few hours apart we met midway for our first date. As nervous as we both were we both knew and were all in from that day on.

Barry said “I remember it like it was yesterday. I knew at that moment, (God willing) that I was going to marry her. I have never met a more beautiful, kind, and patient person.”

Probably just a few dates in and I was already asking my mom if she was ready to meet her future son-in-law. I definitely found the perfect person for me!”

We look out for each other, protect each other, encourage, push, challenge, and accept each other. A long hug in the cow camp kitchen, a quick wink in passing while branding calves, a hand hold on the endless dirt road. That’s who we are and always will be

We decided to elope because we wanted to spend our special day doing things that we enjoyed. We went fishing in the morning and caught trout, had mimosas at our campsite before the ceremony, and ended the night eating burgers and s’mores around our fire. And I wouldn’t change a thing. 

Over the last few years we’ve gotten to make and enjoy some amazing memories, and I truly look forward to making more that I will cherish the rest of my life with him.”

All of you that know Kate and Stan know they have completely different personalities.  Opposites attract they say, but Kate and Stan are definitely kindred spirits. Your soul is what makes you the person you are, and they both have the most confident, kind, genuine, giving , loyal, ambitious souls that bonds them together. They laugh and joke with each other and you can tell by the way they look at each other they are home.”

These two sweethearts knew each other for a couple of years but never really thought anything of it. Their love blossomed when they stopped looking for love. Low and behold, they were right in front of each other the whole time.

Our wedding day was nothing but perfect! The weather was beautiful and everything from the flowers to the food was amazing. Today I can still say that Devin is the kindest human being around. He puts himself last before everyone else and will do anything for anyone. He puts me first and like I said in our vows to him “All the hard work you do for me and our future, the kind jesters, and every morning forehead kiss before you go to work do not go unnoticed, I promise.” I could not have asked for a better human being to call my soulmate.

There’s no one else that can make me happy the way he does, laugh the way he does, smile the way he does, and so much more that I could go on about all day. I still think about how truly lucky I am for this life we have built together so far and how there is still so much more room for growth. Our goals we have set together, our love for each other, and our love for god is what has gotten us to where we are today almost 2 years later ENGAGED and happier than ever.
