This was so special for us. We have been together for over 4.5 years. In true Oklahoma fashion the wind was blowing 100 mph lol but it was the best day of our lives and still seems like a dream!

Our wedding was truly a family affair! It included a lot of special touches, handmade items or repurposed antique finds, courtesy of our family and friends. Even though it wasn’t the wedding we though we were going to have, it truly turned out better than we could have imagined.

Blake & Whitney chose an amazing venue. The Barn at Aspen Acres has natural light in every room, a clean, crisp appearance & photogenic areas for everything from getting ready to the ceremony to outdoor photos.

Braxton proposed in front of both of our families the day that he graduated with his master’s degree in May of 2019. I didn’t see it coming AT ALL. My ring was custom made with our brand and my mother-in-law’s diamond from her wedding ring. It also has James 4:15 engraved on the inside – “‘If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that’”.

Brandon and Chandler’s wedding day was the day after the anniversary of his mother’s passing, which they knew would be very emotional. As a surprise the mother of the bride bought a celtic knot locket, to honor his Scottish heritage. Chandler, the bride, put a photo of his mother inside and had it attached to his boutteniere so that his mother would be close to his heart on their big day. Let me tell you, the bride and the groom weren’t the only ones in tears during this moment.

Especially since rules and regulations change by the minute right now. Despite morning lightning storms, a pandemic, and more, their wedding went off without a hitch!
