Our story started in a pizza bistro back in 2018. After that first date we were inseparable. We moved to Arizona, went to college, got married in Sedona surrounded by the breathtaking Red Rocks, and welcomed our sweet baby boy later that year. We knew what our dreams were, and it was time to get to work. The western lifestyle will be a part of our lives forever. We trust in God knowing that He has the most beautiful and amazing plan for our little family!
We grew up together in the small town of Bronte, TX. Samuel was several years older than me, so there was never much of a friendship there – but I did have one of those elementary girl crushes on him. After several years of dating, we called it quits for the time being (or as his mom says, a God pause). I think it’s safe to say that over those years apart, there was always that lingering what if in the back of both of our minds.
That what if came to an end a short 5 years later when we reconnected over a random phone call in March of 2020. Samuel proposed on 04/03/2021 on the Bronte ranch where we would spend most of our time together – the first go round. 😉
Kynsi caught Sheldons eye at the 2020 Dirty River Boys concert in the new Dickies Arena tent party. When he finally found the nerve to approach her he asked if she would liked to dance and was thoroughly surprised by how well they danced together. They had both just gotten out of long term relationships so were hesitant at first to jump back into a relationship, but as time progressed their love for one another became more and more evident. A few months into them dating they were out riding in the pasture at his family’s place in south Texas. Kynsi knew then that this is the man she wanted to marry. Sheldon and Kynsi are set to tie the knot April 16 at The River Ranch Stockyards Venue.
Carson and Shelby met their freshman year in college at Texas A and M University. Carson was Shelby’s date to her first Sigma Alpha formal; after a couple years of not seeing each other, they decided to go look at the famous Christmas lights of College Station and eat at Yole’s in Millican in 2017. On January 30, 2018, Carson asked Shelby to proofread an essay for him that turned out to be a sweet letter asking her to be his girlfriend! After 3.5 years of good times and several sweet letters from Carson, he finally asked Shelby to marry him on June 19, 2021!
About 4 years ago Payton reached out to to me on social media and asked me out on a date. After our first time hanging out I think we can both agree we fell pretty hard for another. I fell in love with him and the rodeo lifestyle immediately. We have traveled all over together and have had so many amazing memories. We got married on May 15th of 2021. A month after being married, we found out we have a baby on the way and are so excited to start this next chapter with one another
We did not hesitate to take advantage of this blessing and spent the afternoon shooting all the locations of this Queens Creek Ranch and finished the evening at the iconic San Tan Flat Steakhouse. Laughter, kindness, and a tremendous love for each other made this experience a dream come true and one we would gladly do all over again.
When you hear that God puts people in your life for a reason, don’t take that lightly. Marcus came into my life when I didn’t know I needed him. Marcus is my rock, the one who continues to bring me that same sense of calmness I had when we first met. I can’t wait for our wedding day in April, and to continue our lives together!
