We couldn’t have asked for a better day in terms of weather. Being that it was still during the craziness of covid, I truly think our family and friends had the best time. Not only to celebrate the marriage between Denton and I, but to be able to laugh, dance and enjoy themselves with people they haven’t been able to see for months. They always say your wedding day goes so fast, and I can attest to that. What I would give to relive it all over again.

It wasn’t until 2016 when Johnny finally showed up at my work unannounced and basically “kid” napped me to some random party up the hill. I truly married my BEST friend.

The joke was made at work one day, when we rode on to a beautiful dam and watched as the dogs brought a mob of cattle to us, it was said that this is the spot we will get married! And from that day on we secretly started planning our wedding. Our day was everything we ever wanted, stress free, fun and spent with those we love.
Reese and Kay first crossed paths at Voca Church in Caney, Oklahoma. They became Facebook friends, and when Kay struck up a conversation about Reese’s first elk hunting experience, the rest was history. The two are now happily planning their future wedding from their quaint ranch house in the Sandhills of Kansas.
