“I was driving down the road and blew a tire so I pull off to the side. I hear a truck pull up behind and out steps this handsome cowboy coming to my rescue. He changes my tire and asks for my number and sends me on my way and the rest is history……

It was honestly love at first sight! From that day forward sparks just flew! 8 years down the track we finally tied the knot! It was the most special and most spectacular day we have ever had!

Honestly, a lot of tears and a whole lot of faith! I have never shot in the rain, let alone sideways falling rain. I had to stop almost every other shot to dry off my camera lens and my camera body off. Other than battling the elements, I prepared for this elopement like I have any other one — getting excited and looking up work that inspires me.

Our day was anything but small, as hundreds of onlookers and skiers cheered us on from a distance, congratulating us, and yelling well wishes throughout the day. Not one time did I feel like an old bride, in fact, I don’t think I’ve ever felt more beautiful. To any bride who may be wondering if she’s too old for the long dress of her dreams, to any couple who is feeling the pressure of expectations, I say this, go for the adventure! Have your moment the way you want it, and enjoy every bit of it. Life is too short not to live it with your brightest light shining.

Paul and Kimberly had almost given up on dating and each had decided that once their Match.com subscriptions were over they were done. Kimberly sent a smile emoji that started long nights of conversations.
